The annual Beekeeping 101 Course will be held on Saturday February 15 and Saturday February 22, 2025.
This is a two day course which includes approximately 10 hours of classroom education, equipment demonstration and an optional apiary day. Classes are taught by local beekeepers who have experience keeping and managing honey bee colonies.
The class will be held in the Fellowship Hall of Corinth Baptist Church in Elizabeth City, NC from 8am to 2pm in Elizabeth City, NC. (Dates are 2/15 and 2/22)
Pre-registration is required. Registration closes Feb 9, 2025.
Cost of the course is $55.
Cost includes membership to the North Carolina State Beekeepers Association and Beekeepers of the Albemarle, First Lessons in Beekeeping book, supplemental reading material, and lunch for both Saturdays.
